Vebjørn Sand builds an ice bridge in Antarctica-an artist's response to climate change.

Antarctica’s pristine blue ice is inspiration enough to create art, but the message is more urgent for Norwegian artist, Vebjørn Sand. “Antarctica is a bridge in the complex ecology of our home planet – our life support system.” Sand says. “It is deeply emotional to create a bridge of pristine Antarctic ice in this apocalyptic landscape that I know could disappear along with human civilization."
